Professor Samuel delivered an outstanding performance at the Grappling Industries tournament, earning the Gold Medal in the Open Class Black Belt division, despite being placed among younger competitors in the Adult category—while he himself is a Master 2 (over 40 years old). This prestigious event, known for not awarding advantages, was no match for Samuel’s exceptional technique and composure.

In addition to his gold medal, Samuel also competed in the Advanced No-Gi Masters Division (ages 30 and up), where he secured Second Place in his division and Third Place in the Open Class.
